Aesop's Shadows

A Shadow puppetry workshop that takes you through an entire production. Design and build simple shadow puppets with cardstock and bendy straws. Explore movements that the puppets can do based on the Aesop's Fables that have movement. Rehearse and Perform short pieces for small audience, parents, caregivers and anyone else around.

For ages 5 & up: will be adapted to meet students interests and needs
For groups of 10-15; larger groups can be accommodated, but will require additional instructors
SKills: draw characters using shapes; using scissors to cut out characters; learn to create covements with puppet to convey story; rehearse and memorize movements and script (older students); colaborate and cooperate with other students; perform for audience
